I use mkvmaker for many years now and I just notice today that it seems to be a little compression where it's not suppose to be. My original .vob file has an average of 4520 kbps and my final mkv has an average of 4480. Is that normal, max bitrate and audio aren't touched.
Is it normal? settings problems somewhere ?
Thanks for your help

	Hi,
it is normal. Its mkv, if you remux same file to mp4 it will have different size too.

Different containers have different overhead. VOB has lots of overhead to help the DVD player.
