I've fiddled with the old FFmpegsource2 and LSmashSource2/LibavSource2 scripts a little and there's links below if anyone wants to try these versions. The new function names are FFMS3 and LSMASH3 (plus LSmashSource3 and LibavSource3), renamed so they can co-exist with the original FFmpegsource2 and LSmashSource2/LibavSource2 scripts.
FFMS3 isn't terribly different to the old FFmpegSource2 script. The options are the same minus the utf8 argument as FFMS2000 doesn't have it. The differences are:
Audio is enabled by default and it'll open audio-only files without throwing an error. It'll also open video-only and audio-only files without requiring the vtrack or atrack arguments to be set to disabled accordingly.
LSMASH3 hopefully functions in the same way as FFMS3, but it combines LSMASHVideoSource/LSMASHAudioSource and LWLibavVideoSource/LWLibavAudioSource as a single function, so it should open any file type supported by the LSMASHSource plugin.
LSMASH3 will attempt to open a source file with LSMASHVideoSource/LSMASHAudioSource and if that fails it'll index and open it with LWLibavVideoSource/LWLibavAudioSource.
There's two functions LSmashSource3 and LibavSource3 included with the LSMASH3 script. They're based on the LSmashSource2 and LibavSource2 scripts but I added a vtrack argument for disabling video. Individually, they should also function in the same way as the FFMS3 script.
I'm using XP so I can't test the LSMASH3 script with a recent version of the LSMASHSource plugin, but I don't think the options have changed.
FFMS3 2017-10-05.avsi
FFMS3("E:\Source Video.mkv")
FFMS3("E:\Source Audio.mp3")
etc
LSMASH3 2017-10-05.avsi
LSmash3("E:\Source Video.mp4")
LSmash3("E:\Source Audio.mka")
etc

I might be able to use these, or at least the LSmash one, with which I've never had much luck. Thanks. But don't you need some associated DLLs?

I guess I should have posted links rather than assume everyone would already have them.

FFMS2 official version (or so it seems)
 http://avisynth.nl/index.php/FFmpegSource
I used this version for quite a while and it's the one MeGUI uses, so it's probably preferable:
 https://github.com/FFMS/ffms2/releases
Although I recently switched to this version and so far so good.

I assume this is the current official LSmash:

 More cutting edge LSmash here:

And the last LSmash that'll run on XP. I'm using this one.
