please I wonder how to set the default path of the .lwi not in the same folder of the opened video file



how can it be do? thanks

I don't think it's possible. MeGUI puts it in your directory of choice, but to do that it has to move the lwi file after it's written to the same location as the source, so I assume there's no option to set the location when the index file is being created. I couldn't see one when I looked at the help file.

If you move it though, you should be able to open it directly as long as you don't move the source file:

LWLibavVideoSource("D:\video.lwi")
