Convert x265 4k to 60fps

Hello,

i like the smooth motion of 60fps movies.

Know everyone here how i can convert 4k x265 movies to 60fps?

By 1080p i convert this with MeGUI and Interframe how in this guide( spirton.com/convert-videos-to-60fps/ ).

But this is not working with 4K and x265. Can anyone help me, how i can easy convert my 4K movies to 60fps?

Why would it not be "working", at least go get the script running? Can you quote any error messages? Are there crashes? Does it exceed memory limits?

Why not post a clickable link to this guide? ... Which is a bit half-wit, IMHO. Preferring the unreliable DirectShowSource method over other more precise source plugins without explaining reasons of issues.

Apart from all above ... converting 4K videos from lower frame rates to 60 fps is most probably a waste of time and energy. It will require a multiple of the original bitrate not to look ugly. And there are probably playback devices which can't handle it. And after all, inter-frame interpolation is unreliable on its own, you will probably get garbage now and then.

Unless your source is a BluRay source.. Waste of time.. No Improvement in quality if the source is not 60 fps
Plus the 4k video you are refering to is a lossy source.. Nothing can be improved in terms of quality.
Also the actual conversion take sooooo long.. like 5-10 hours for every 1 hour of movie. It'll take you forever ...

Hi,

If you want to watch it on PC try MadVR. If your computer is powerfull enough, you can get it when playing the video in players that support MadVR. Potplayer MPC-HC or MPC-BE and more.
