Ok I have google a lot and nothing seems to be working for me.
I have this DVD ripped in Video_TS and Audio_TS folders and I am playing it in mpc. It comes with subtitle but they are too low on the screen and I trying to change the position. I a using enhanced video renderer and when I play a file LAVideoDecoder opens up, if that information helps.

View, Options, Subtitles, Override placement, adjust percentage. Only works with softsubs (subtitles are rendered in the player). If they are hardsubs (hardcoded into the video) then you can't do anything.
