    I have bought a cheap Chinese multi region dvd player to play a operation manual dvd.The player although it claims to be multi region won't play my region 1 dvd.Is there any way round this. Thanks. Ronnie.

    Maybe.

    What's the brand and model of the player? Have you checked our 'DVD Hacks' to the left on this screen?
    Optionally, you could rip the DVD with a computer to eliminate the region settings.
