    Hi,
I know, there is program for Linux called Flowable. But I can't find any software for Windows. It looks very very nice in Krita (Painting program). I think it can be very usefull in restoration of video files. Not fast but quality is very high. And it is opensource. So I am surprised there is not a video editing software for windows supported this framework. If anyone has any information about it please let me know.
    Thank you in advice

  2. Interesting, looks like alternative to avisynth. Sort of. Unfortunately the website is offline.

Thank you, but Gimp is Image manipulation program (Jpeg png tif tga etc....). It supports only single raster images not a video. I am using Krita, painting program, that uses GMIC filters too. But video editor program for windows I cant find. There is one for Linux called Flowblade but none for Windows it seems.
But now I found that has some extension called GAP, which supports animation. Even Krita supports animation but in uncompressed format (PNG files) I will try to use Gmic filters if is it possible then.

Here is example of film emulation filter. If anyone is curious. Final picture is 3,5 MB jpeg with I think reasonable settings.

The some film emulation looks really nice. I think it should improve picture. I choose random picture from a movie.

Info about picture it is YUV 4:4:4: 8 bits

    Image
    Format : JPEG
    Width : 2 096 pixels
    Height : 5 423 pixels
    Color space : YUV
    Chroma subsampling : 4:4:4
    Bit depth : 8 bits
    Compression mode : Lossy
    Stream size : 3.76 MiB (100%)

Almost all about Gmic pdf with showing of gmic usage, filters etc.
Gmic homepage containing libgmic for third party software etc.
