    Hi Forum members,

I'm using Handbrake to burn in subtitles from a srt-file to a mp4 file.

For some unknown reason the first half a minute (39 seconds to be precise) of the text is missing on the encoded movie, but the rest of the film shows the subs just fine. The characters looks good, too, so it's not an overall code problem.

I've been checking the srt file for errors, but I cannot find any.

Do you have any similar problems, and did you find a solution?
I look forward to hearing from you.

    BR Gunne

  2. Rename subtitle file to subtitle.srt
and upload file to the forum(upload files button)
to check if subtitle is ok

Did you try Subtitle Edit -> Tool -> Fix common errors ?

I have uploaded the file, but I'm not sure where it went!
Perhaps "Go advanced" and paste the first lines as Code
