Wasn't sure which forum to put this in so hopefully it works here...
I have recorded audio from a speaker's mic and I also have their powerpoint slide deck. I need to combine the two and create a video that has the powerpoint slides as the video and the audio spliced in. I'm not sure of the best way to do that. The output needs to be a video that can be uploaded to Youtube for streaming.
I don't know if I need video editing software to do this or if I can do it right within Poiwerpoint somehow. I've never had to do a project like this so just looking for some basic info on where to start. This is on a Windows machine...

Drop the audio into ppt & time it to the ppt image sequences from within ppt, then just export to a mp4, wmv, etc. (assuming this is v2010 or newer, IIRC).
