Hello.
This is a survey question.
An account I share has been locked on Quora.
So, I will ask a survey question here:
In what way do you utilize virtual machines?
I always have fun with malware, messing around with file deletions and virus websites.
It has been one of my childhood passions.
What is something you do with your virtual machines?
What experiments do you do? What do you try with it?
I tried funny things like deleting system files (even using file unlocker) or write-protecting the drive.
I also tried starving some machines of system ressources.
I ran rogue antivirus software too.
Most commonly, I use Windows 2000 Professional SP4 and Windows XP professional SP3 or the MediaCenter edition of it.
It makes fun to ruin everything, and revert to the previous state using the snapshot feature of VirtualBox.
I would be interested in listening to your story:
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

I use a VM with Windows XP installed in it for those occasions when I need to use a old legacy program which, for whatever reason, simply refuses to play nicely with Windows 7 or above. (Which isn't often, but occasionally I find myself trying to recover or convert data that's been saved in an old/obsolete version of a program and no current version will open it.)
