Error Message-WINX DVD AUthor

I Have been using WINX DVD author for several months with no problem. The last 2 times I have tried to burn a movie I keep getting this message
access violation at adddress 0042B154 in module 'DVD_Author.exe'. Read of address 00000000

Would anyone know what this means, it also ruins the blank DVD as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks..

An access violation usually means your software can't find a location or address.
Probably means something in the software is damaged or something in the software chain has changed/been upgraded or damaged.

I would reinstall any programs involved with the problem. Easiest thing to try.
In some cases you might have to go to an earlier version of your programs if there has been an problematic update.
Check their sites for reported problems.

I am just now seeing this. Thank you I will uninstall and try RE installing a different version. I didn't even think of that.
