    Using the latest version of Xmedia, there is no option for Quick Sync under codecs. in Decoder under preferences, I selected Intel Quick Sync but in the codec drop down menu Quick Sync is not there.

    In the table at the bottom of page it looks like some CPU models can only do decoding, depending on what you are trying to do. Maybe that is the problem??
