  1. hi everyone,

i'm sure this has probably been asked before, but please forgive me as i am a "newbie" to this forum. here's my problem... i'm having trouble making video cds out of my "The Critic" data cd. the data cd contains all 20-something episodes, each in RM format. i visited this webpage and followed the directions to convert the files using EO Video and TMPGE. after i finally got the conversions done and burned a vcd (with nero) containing the 3 episodes i converted, i put the vcd in my dvd player and...success!!...well, not quite, and here's where i need advice...the video and the audio start out pretty much in sync, but after about a minute or two, they start to fall noticibly out of sync...after about 10 minutes, it's almost completely unwatchable because of the delay between the audio and the video...i have a few theories: not having a separate hard drive as a scratch disk, wrong video settings (should i "maintain aspect" or "fit to size"?), should i try converting to another format before burning the vcd, etc.... ok, that's the end of my long winded story... :-) any help from the pros would be quite appreciated.

    thanks!!

  2. Chances are that when you encoded the rm files in EO Video, you did not choose the correct frame rate.
