What am I doing wrong? Running ffmpeg 3.3.2 on mac.
Command line:
ffmpeg -i 00800.track_4352.Eng.dtsma Jurassic.flac
Input #0, dts, from '00800.track_4352.Eng.dtsma':
Duration: N/A, start: 0.000000, bitrate: N/A
Stream #0:0: Audio: dts (DTS-HD MA), 48000 Hz, 7.1, s32p (24 bit)
Stream mapping:
Stream #0:0 -> #0:0 (dts (dca) -> flac (native))
Output #0, flac, to 'Jurassic.flac':
Metadata:
encoder : Lavf57.71.100
Stream #0:0: Audio: flac, 48000 Hz, 7.1, s32 (24 bit), 128 kb/s
Metadata:
encoder : Lavc57.89.100 flac
But what I get is 5.1 flac, not 7.1
The reason I want to do this is so I can import this into audacity, but that also imports the audio as 5.1 not 7.1, so, thought I would use ffmpeg to get straight 7.1 flac so I could then read it in, but no dice.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
