Unlocking the Regions for Philip’s 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player BDP7501/F7

Hi all. I have a Philips 4K Bluray player, model number BDP7501/F7. I recently purchased the first three seasons of BBC Sherlock on Blu-ray, but as it turns out, it’s in Italian. English is also listed as a language on it, so I won’t have a problem watching it because of that, but when I put the disc in my player I get a page saying “This disc will not play due to the region code setting of the player”. The player is region one. Does anyone know of a way to unlock the regions on this player? The codes I’ve found for older models don’t work, and I haven’t been able to find anything for this specific model yet.

blu-ray players can only be unlocked with hardware modifications. you are out of luck and will need to purchase discs from your region only.
