Howdy,

I just installed a new drive into my HP and it works just fine, however, the writer I took and put into my parents Dell is not working. The drive I took out was an hp cd-writer plus (actually a Mitsumi cr-4804TE). I don't really have a driver disk since it came installed in my HP. The reader seems to work (most of the time), but the writer is not working. I tried flashing the firmware, but that didn't make a difference. If anyone knows anything about this particular drive or anything I could try to fix it, I would be much appreciative.
