Avermedia Extremecap U3

I am trying to capture HDMI with the above box.
My own software (that works fine with equipment like Startech and MAGEWELL) fails.

So, I tried some basic tests using Graphedt and Graphstudionext.
And, they both fail in a similar fashion.



The box is connected via USB3 (and has a live input from a video camera), as shown by this output from the Avermedia wizard:



All ideas welcome!

I don't have an Avermedia Extremecap U3, so I don't know the precise name of the filter, but the there should be another filter in the chain, something like "Streaming X-Bar" or "Streaming Crossbar", before the capture filter. Look for it in "WDM Streaming Crossbars". Beyond that, I don't know what additional filters you need.

Adding a Crossbar made it work!

However, I don't know if I will make needed modifications to my code to cater for this product, which I believe to be badly written...
I think the capture filter really should be able to run by by itself, as do so many others I use...

My experience has been different from yours. Although I have used only 4 different capture devices, none worked in GraphStudio without a streaming crossbar filter in the chain.
