Have some older DVDs that are interlaced. The end goal is to add these videos to Teachable, which uses Wistia's video service.

I've dropped the VOB chapters onto the Vegas timeline and done audio and video correction. Now I want to upscale the videos to 720P (letterboxed)

I have Sony Vegas 13 and Handbrake available to use. Can frame serve to Handbrake, and I think it gives better results than encoding to MP4 straight from Vegas due to the better resizing algorithm in HB.

Ideally, I'd like to encode straight from Vegas so I can set up a batch and not have to encode each chapter manually (with the frame serving script, I cannot set up a batch)

How should I set my project properties, and what's the best way to go for deinterlacing, preserving some of the sharpness, and converting the video to 720P MP4 for upload to Wistia?
