It does. The PS3 already had support for 1080p60 movies. The PS4 Pro adds AVC High Profile Level 5.2. I assume that means 4Kp60 is supported as well now. But not HEVC (at least not via the open MediaPlayer - I think maybe apps like Netflix can use HEVC decoding. Not sure.)

thank you so much . umm so if i buy a ps4 pro and load a 60fps movie, will it be able to play on my current tv which does not play 60fps clips?

or i have to buy new tv that supports 60fps playback as well? (Sorry for the Noob Question)

If your movie is in a format the PS4 Pro can play and your TV supports such HDMI input and display: yes. Otherwise: no. Look into the manual of your TV. But usually TVs support it just fine. Biggest problem is having the media file in a format supported by the PS4.

ok so i got two samples of a video (One with 60fps and other with 23.976). sadly, the 60fps was unable to play on my HDTV

so i guess just buying the ps4 pro wont be enough
