Is my FFIndex file broken?

I have a 2 hour long MKV, and usually I've opened it using FFMpegSource2 function, and that automatically creates an index file so it opens up quickly in the future.

Yesterday I noticed that I had the function of "ffms2_FFmpegSource2" and ffms2_ffms2". I decided to try them but had to wait a very long time for the file to open up.

I went back to FFMpegSource2 but now everytime I use it, I have to wait a long period of time for the file to open. It's as if the FFIndex file no longer exists, or even gets created.

Did you look in the MKV's folder to see if a .ffindex file is being created and what modify date is on it?

Yes, there is a file where the last modified date was last night shortly after 11PM. I was up after midnight opening the file multiple times and waiting though. It looks to me that it suddenly stopped updating.

FIXED:

It finally updated, though I went back into the avs file and deleted a line before trying again. It was another function I was testing out, the DSS2 function. It wasn't active though.

Can that stop an index file from being updated though? An inactive command that comes before an active one.
