When I press the subtitle sync key (the GREATER THAN or LESS THAN keys), the subtitles will delay or advance and I can see the subtitles text move accordingly on the video screen. BUT this is only when the video is playing.

If the video is paused, the subtitles will not move on the screen if I press the sync adjustment keys. The subtitles will only show the newly adjusted timing after play is resumed.

Is it possible to make the subtitles to immediately move and reflect the changes when the sync adjust key is press, EVEN when the video is paused?

    Thank you!

I doubt it. Most players won't show or make changes when playback is paused.

  3. It works in MPC-HC to some extend.

Yes, MPC-HC does this very well, but since it won't be updated anymore, I'm looking for an alternative. Actually I found SMPlayer a couple of days ago and it updates the subs when syncing even on pause too. But it crashes too often on my laptop (Win 7).
