Is it possible to put Mpg and MPEG2 files on the same cd?

Can you make a cd mixed with vcds and svcds one the same cdr without re-encoding. What files need to be on the cd and what format should the cd be in. I've been messing with nero but have been unsuccefull so far. Anyhelp would be appreciated

I have had success on my Sanyo dwm-370 playing mpeg 1 and mpeg 2 on one disc (both ntsc and pal mpegs at the same time too heh heh) What you do when you are going to burn in nero is just click off create compliant cd, put your mpeg1/2 files in and write it. Hope this helps

Depending on your player, you probably can.

Note that this is non-compliant though so your disc definitely won't work on all players.
