I am noticing when I zoom this DVD video in that I am seeing blue and or purple color spots on top of the original colors. Its easy to see in the purple on the characters eye and the blue on his shirt. It can also be seen in the girls brown hair pretty easily.
I am also noticing what looks like yellow/green color spots all over most of the other colors and in darker areas.
How can I reduce or remove these artifacts?

First, use Mpeg2Source's DCT ringing filters.

Then use a 2d or 3d noise filter. 3d will be better at retaining detail in still portions of the frame.Code:Mpeg2Source("filename.d2v", CPU2="ooooxx")
