I'm considering installing VSDC Video Editor (as well as VSDC Screen Recorder, which I believe automatically installs along with it), but am worried that it might install codecs, filters, etc, to my system that might mess with some of my other video software. I don't mind if if it installs portable codecs to its installation folder in a way that wouldn't interfere with other software. But I don't want it to install any system-wide addons that might mess with the more finicky of those other programs that I have which depend on certain versions of Avisynth, LAV Filters, etc, being installed and certain others (like ffdshow) not being installed.
Does anyone know whether it installs any such system-wide addons?
