I'v been using MKVToolNix for a while with no problems.
Now I got an .avi file I want to drop into a MKV container as I often do. For some reason I dont Understand the lengtn of the video changes from 1:55 to 2:45 but the last 50 minutes is just a black screen. Subtitle are out of sync too.
This never occured with other .avi/.srt files.
Are there settings I overlooked or is the .avi file broken?

Can you post a MediaInfo text file of the video?

Open the srt in a text editor and delete all lines that end after 1:55.

There are no subtitle lines after the end of the video.

Okay. I compare the info's and I see the subtitles somehow is interpret too long. I'll look into that. Thanks.

Right. I found it. Line 607 had this time stamp: 00:00:00,000 --> 02:43:58,150
Odd.
