Does anyone have frame serving working with Virtual dub version 1.4.10.

I just downloaded it yesterday, I reinstalled the stuff in the aux setup (what ever it was called) and turned the proxy server on with the registry setting file, but TMPGEnc refused to read the signpost file (so did another instance of Virtauldub!). I've done frameserving to TMPGEnc hundreds of times before, so I know what I'm doing, and know it should work.

I gave up and put back version 1.4.9 and it worked fine, so I suspect a problem in the new revision. If anyone does have it working, was there anything special you needed to do?

  2. You need to add a file msvcr70.dll to your windows/system32 directory.

If you do a search on the web you should be able to find it many places as it is a free file. The frameserver portion was recompiled with the latest MScompiler and needs this support file.

    Take care,
    Mike H.

It doesn't really seem like they solved it in that other thread, but at leat I know I'm not alone.

mikehg, I will look for that file and give it a go. It sounds very promissing.
