    hi
i've a m4v file which is encoded in mpeg4 with x265 codec. it includes one audio and three subtitles. i need to
    1. cut a portion of it into another video file.
    2. prefer not to re-encode it.
    3. include all subtitles but one of them.
    what's your suggestion?

  3. Drag your video onto MKVToolnix. De-select unwanted track(s).

On the "Output Tab" select splitting mode.

    thank you
but it seems that i can't cut a portion of video with this tool. for example, i need only 30 seconds from the beginning of the video and don't want it to include the remainder.
is it possible with this tool?

  5. This will give you two files. The first will be your 30s and the second you delete.
