I have an Android box installed into my AV system via an optical lead to my amp, however the amp isnt recognising the 5.1 output from the box, Do these android boxes output 5.1 audio?
The features list claims it can, and there are settings options for digital audio of HDMI SPDIF or PCM, and an auto detect. My Amp has no HDMI input just optical (its an older model), but it cant sense any 5.1 it just shows the signal being a 2.1 or a L/R and a common rear.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Via optical PCM is max. stereo. Is there a "bitstreaming" option for DTS or Dolby Digital (AC3)?

I have tried everything to try and get a 5.2 output from the Android box but still no Joy, could it be that my Aged AV amp setup can not recognise the output from the box ?
