I have been searching for an affordably priced laptop to edit 4k video, using adobe premier pro or similar 4k video editing software. I found a Lenovo y700 4k screen with some awesome specs for a great price. The specs are as follows

So which one is a better unit?
I think the y700 has the best overall specs, but will it work to edit 4k video?
The second unit does not even have a card reader.
Or
Do you guys have any suggestions on a laptop near the $1000 range, but no more than 1500?
Thanks in advance

That is a bit out of my price range. Comparing the
GS63VR STEALTH PRO (GEFORCE® GTX 1060
To the lenovo y700 is real close except for the graphics card is a 960m vs the 1060 the price difference of over $600. Is the 1060, worth $600 more. The lenovo y700 also has a 4k display unlike the stealth.
What do you think -
Isn't 4k on a laptop screen overkill? There have been reports of scaling issues with those 4k screens. Some programs do not scale well and you will find some fonts will be displayed so small that you can't read them. Better to look for good 1920×1200 & 120hz refresh rate screen.

Lenovo uses low grade hardware... So in other words, they suck.
Go with Dell XPS or HP. -
Editing (or gaming) laptops: way more expensive, crappy keyboard, not much storage (you will want some large, high performance external HDDs), fragile, runs ridiculously hot, mostly not repairable, mostly not upgradable. Not recommended.
