Problem with DVR-A04 / DVR-104

I just got my DVRa04 for three weeks now.

Since then I manage to burn 5 success DVD-Rs data.

But after some issue with Spruce and ASPI, I remove my Win2K.
And more problems start showing up.

After starting with fresh Win2k with all windows updates, Whenever I burn DVD-R Data using either NERO or Primo or MyDVD.
All DVD-Rs seem ONLY readable from my DVR-A04 drive. My other 3 DVD ROM(toshiba, pioneer, toshiba) give me forever time recognizing.

My old burned 5 DVD-Rs is still working fine with my other three DVDROM


What might went wrong ??

Probably you are using cheap (RE:"bad") DVD-R media. This was happening to me until I started using quality media (I bought some supposed generic Princo media, which won't play through on any machine except the burner). I'm still waiting for a batch of the CD-Recordable.com DVD-R blanks to arrive so I can test them.

I will try with other brand next time.

The fact that it happens after I reinstall my Win2k makes me doubt that its the media, but we'll see.

Anyone else has the same problem ? or know any solution to this?
