I need (I think) to de-interlace some video. The problem is this: my rendered video is stuttery, almost like there is a field problem. This only happens when playing back video that I have reversed. And the more motion, the worse it is.
I'm editing in FCP 3. Should I apply some type of de-interlacing filter in FCP? It seems like I loose resolution when I do that. Is there another program that I could use to fix this that wouldn't degrade my image? I know TMPGs de-interlacing is A+, but I don't want to run VPC to do this...
thanks
