CCleaner - Does it Work on Windows 10 Properly?

Hello, dear all.


CCleaner is a program that I use in my PC's.

But, I heard that CCleaner does not work so well on Windows 10. Does it true? Or it's developers have fixed that?


For windows 10 which other program do you point that can do all thing that CCleaner does? Any good freeware / portable that can do it too?


I mean: cleaning cookies, the registry, the history, etc.

Dont know about CCleaner on Win10 but this is what i use and its very through in its spring cleaning,
updated very often, It can also perform a smart scan and overwrites only what HD sectors it need to,
Note i`m nothing to do with the developer.

I've been using CCleaner on Windows 10 since before Win10 was officially released - including the registry cleaning part - and have had no issues with it. If you're nervous about using the registry cleaning part, then don't use it. I don't let it run in the background or monitor whatever it says it's monitoring, I'll run it as and when I choose to, as I have since I first discovered CCleaner back when the first 'C' still had three other letters between it and the second 'C'.

In my experience, CCleaner has worked without issue under Windows 10 from Threshold 2 (1511) through Creators Update (1703).
