Audacity...How do I insert a clip...

Im trying to simply insert a clip in front of the original audio clip, Can any Audacity Guru tell me how, or even add the new clip in a new line and then add a time delay to the original....Cheers

In Audacity, click 'Help' and 'Quick help', choose 'FAQ' in the left column, near the bottom.
Then 'Editing'>'How do I combine two files into one longer file'.

You should see the instructions you need.

Open both clips. Select the one you want to insert. Copy to the clipboard. Put the cursor at the start of the copy you want to insert into. Paste.
