  1. Hello, I'am stack with ffmpeg and fontconfig. I tried to burn .ass subtitle into the video, but every time a I get "no usable fontconfig configuration file found"
I used envieriment varables like FC_CONFIG_* and FONT_CONFIG_*, put my fonts dir outside and inside ffmpeg installation, check all issues twice and thrice.
    FFMPEG just dont work.
OS is windows, ffmpeg is last zeramoe's build.
    Please, any help.

  2. In ffmpeg folder extract the zip I attached. If you need more than just c:\windows\fonts open the file in a text editor and duplicate the <dir>...</dir> line to add more folders. Works for me without any environment variable settings.

    Resulting folder structure:
    wrong:
    ...\ffmpeg.exe
    ...\fonts.conf

    correct:
    ...\ffmpeg.exe
    ...\fonts\fonts.conf
    Image Attached Files

  4. Show folder/file structure. Set -report for ffmpeg and post log.

    My structure is like this:
    c:\program files\ffmpeg\ffmpeg.exe
    c:\program files\ffmpeg\fonts\fonts.conf

I have no environment variables set for the fonts. I'm using Windows 7 x64, latest zeranoe static build (checked 32 and 64 bit from 2017-04-25 N-85653-gb4330a0).

  5. Could you tell how you run ffmpeg? From your bin folder, or you add ffmpef to PATH?

  6. I tried both and both work for me.

  7. Okay, I just copy binary file from bin to ffmpeg installation folder and everything became fine.
    Thx for your help
