I'm assuming that the advertisements are being displayed in your web browser. Have you tried any ad blockers, llike Adblock Plus, for example?

Perhaps some program that you installed also install a bunch of crap.

Try Junk Removal Tool or/and Adwcleaner or Malwerebytes free edition.

    Luck.

Of your computer with antivirus software.

  5. First, clean up your computer with anti-malware, anti-spyware, and anti-virus software from reputable companies. Or do a clean install of Windows. Then...

Stop downloading and installing free games and demos.

Stop downloading and installing other free software. When you must, do not use the full install option. Go through every install step and make sure you elect not to install any included malware. It's very common that installers will ask if you want to install malware, and even if you answer NO, a later step will install malware unless you specifically decline it again.

    Stop downloading software with bittorrent.

Stop using free streaming video sites that require you to download their special player.

Stop going to web sites that require you to download/install software to use the site.

Use a hosts file that blocks many malware and advertising sites. Like the hosts file from http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm

Block Java Script in your browser with an add-on like NoScript. Allow only trusted sites to run Java Script.
