I had this m2ts file that I authored few years ago using MultiAVCHD program as blu-ray disc just to benefit from auto-load feature, For some reason my Pioneer blu-ray player plays the disc in full screen stretching the frame vertically which suppose to have black bars on top and bottom as the frame resolution is only 816x1920 DAR 2.35:1.

I want to dump the file back on to the hard drive and just play it back thru the network as a m2ts file I don't want to compress or convert to another format, Is there a way to fix this without any loss of quality? Here is the file info:

    Code:

  2. The video is square pixel with a display aspect ratio of 2.35:1 -- maybe the player will play it proper as it is. If not, try remuxing into an MP4 container with the DAR set to 2.35:1. Maybe the player will respect that. If not, you'll probably have to re-encode with letterbox bars.

Since the video is 1920x816 MultiAVCHD would have displayed the video title in RED in the compilation window and would normally re-encode the video to 1920x1080. If the video was not re-encoded MultiAVCHD would merely remuxe the video to .m2ts with TSMuxer.

Are you saying it is not MultiAVCHD fault?

Setting the player to pan and scan played those discs perfectly, So I don't have to mess with them, The only problem is I have to change this setting every time otherwise it would not play blu-ray discs normally if I leave it on pan and scan.

No, the most knowledgeable members that actually benefit the forum don't have such attitude of ignoring other members, Single digit IQ ones don't count.
