  1. As this is my first post here, I would like to say hello to everyone.

I'm looking for editing software, that will allow me to simultaneously open two separate video files (both around 90 min - I'm gone prepare theme to be the same codec, resolution etc.), so I could easily copy several scenes from one video, and insert theme in the other one.

As this will be probably one time thing, I'm looking for a freeware or trial program. But if there isn't any good free solution, I could consider buying some of the commercial software.

What codec are you planning to use for editing? That may determine the editor choice.
But you might try VSDC Free Video Editor.

Or others here may have better suggestions.

    And welcome to our forums.

  3. if you can do this in less that 30 days, use the free trial of a real big boy NLE like Premiere Pro. You won't have to "prepare" anything. Pull your files in and cut. (Though if they're long GOP it may get slow towards the end.)
