Can someone explain to me the XSplit pricing model? Their website is way too promotional and doesn't explain things across their entire product line well.
I see they have a subscription based service based on whether it is a personal use license or premium commercial license. The problem I am having is that it is not at all clear does this one license give you the ability to use either the XSplit Broadcaster or XSplit Gamecaster product? It's not a different price for each of those products?
In terms of features, if I want XSplit to appear like a virtual camera under Windows, and I want the content of the camera stream to be a mux of three sources:
1) A desktop Windows application, either PowerPoint or a slideshow of images
2) A soundtrack, probably the output of Windows Media Player
3) An overlay of a video camera, probably the talking head of the presenter, positioned as a small frame off to the corner of the presentation window
will the basic XSplit Gamecaster product let me do that, or do I need the more complex XSplit Broadcaster?
