I am trying to build graph to connect to this encoder (instead of using buggy supplied application for HD CaptureU3.0 Skydigital Inc Digital Audio Capture and Recorder)
But I can not find combination of filters that work
Anybody any idea?
Thanks

It seems to want to output some file. Can you connect it to the file writer or null renderer?
-
I can not connect Sky CapX USB 3.0 Capture to Sky Smart H264 Encoder in first place, so no worries YET what the output is...
-
Right click on the Capture output pin of the Sky CapX USB 3.0 Capture and select Render Pin. What do you get?
-
It does not ever render to the encoder, but it also does not render to any of the filters that show as compatible...
-
The point isn't to render to the encoder. The point is to build a graph that you can use as a guide. Then you can modify it by removing the screen renderer, routing to the encoder, etc.
-
Try removing the Video Renderer and connecting the output pin of the Color Space Converter to the input of the Sky Smart H264 Encoder.
Then you'll need to fix everything past the h264 decoder. You want to mux the audio and video together then output to a file. -
Another option might be to use ffmpeg with quicksync (or nvenc or libx264) , since it can access directshow devices
Check if your device is listed
Code:ffmpeg -list_devices true -f dshow -i dummy

Is audio separate through mic or the device ? If both video and audio are through the device it will look something like this
Code:ffmpeg -f dshow -i video="Sky CapX USB 3.0 Capture":audio="Audio In (Sky CapX USB 3.0 Driv" -pix_fmt yuv420p -c:v h264_qsv -c:v pcm_s16le -f mkv output.mkv
