In 2005 I bought 8/10 MAXELL mini DVD form my camcorder.
This morning I wanted to watch these movies with family, but I realized that all the MAXELL DVDS are unreadable.
The reading side of the MINI DVD seems to be all with chapped.
Someone can tell me if it's possible to repair?
Thank You.

It appears that the adhesive used to bond the top and bottom of the disc together has deteriorated, allowing air and moisture to get inside. I'm sorry to say that there is no way to salvage those discs. They are far too damaged to recover anything.

I can assure you that the part is cracked on the outside.
Passing over with a finger, you see very well that is very rough. -
In the picture showing the top of a DVD, there is oxidation visible on the metallic layer inside the disc. Normally this indicates that air and moisture got inside. Your discs are completely ruined. Nothing further can be done with them.
Likely they were stored in an area with uncontrolled humidity, or where the temperature fluctuated quite a bit, or both. If not, and they were not exposed to any corrosive substances, they were very poorly made.Ignore list: hello_hello, tried, TechLord, Snoopy329 -
Believe me, i have other brands of DVDs and also much older than those ruined that are still in excellent condition.
Sure it was mabe by a poor raw material.
But with this bad disk, i loss all video from daughter , when she was younger. -
What did you use to store the DVDs? Some plastics are not inert or slowly release gasses/chemicals which can react badly with other plastics.

They are almost certainly beyond recovery. I would say though that my experiences with Maxell have generally been good and it is unusual for internal bonding to break in such a random speckled pattern. It's a long shot but try soaking on of the discs in warm (not hot) water with a little liquid detergent added. If the internal bonding had broken it wouldn't account for the rough external surface so it is just possible it's a mold growth on the outside. Obviously don't use anything abrasive or a petroleum solvent but check the roughness isn't a coating rather than a plastic defect.
