I have the first one and it is an outstanding card, it fits pefectly for my daily use. But the second one is much cheaper and the only difference i can spot is the V30 standar.

The first one write about 90MB/s but the V30 in the second one is supposed to be 30MB/s.

Is the second one really that slower?

    Thanks.

Looking at the US Sandisk site, they make SD cards in several speeds. One at 300MB/s and a low end card at 48MB/s.
It would more depend on what you plan to use it for. Static data storage, music or SD video, or in a HD video camera for capture?

It's a long article, but this from Wikipedia does have the rating system down a bit lower in the article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital

But others here may give you a better answer.

No, V30 is basically the same as U3, it mark the minimun waranted write speed for a single file. They can be the same card from diferent batches being the marked V30 the newer one. Those 90MB/s is the maximun speed and those cards like most of the the cards marked V30 or U3 tend to be able to write faster that the speed waranted by the label.

I see, thanks both. I have marked 90MB/s with the original one.
