I'm want to resize a dv file using virtualdub, but when I try to load it I get error message -
couldn't locate decompressor for format 'dvsd'
VirtualDub reguires a video for windows compatible code to decompress video.
I have canopus dv codec installed.
Help appreciated

You have to save the avi as Microsoft Avi and not DV avi, but it's dead slow. Use the avisynth plugin instead. Just be sure to use the right version of the plugin and avisynth.
