    I have a clip: https://mega.nz/#!kARGzCbA!HtCer4mg-3mfwPU6Ixpg-vy0iS4lfrtwBXAVxaM5LEg

Whenever I crop the bars off the top and bottom I end up getting a weird resolution and aspect ratio and am unsure of what to resize to or what to even do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. It's square pixel so whatever you crop to is the aspect ratio. I got 1920x990, or ~1.94:1. Resize proportionally. For example, if you resize the width to 1280 then resize the height to 990 * 1280 / 1920 = 660.

Unless you think the video was distorted to fit the width of the frame. But there's nothing it the clip you posted by which you could judge that.

Alright. That is what I got as well, I just thought it was a little weird because I've never seen anything in that aspect ratio before.

  4. This aspect ratio calculator helps quite a bit when wanting to resize things.

    Maybe you can try that.
