    I have some home movies that were recently converted from vhs to digital, by a friend of a friend, but they are in AVI format, and I want to cut them into different files. Its like 1 vhs tape is 1 file, so there are multiple videos in 1 file, and I wish to cut them into files for each. I am looking for something simple that I can just look at a preview window, and use a slider to get to the point, and press a button, or something close to those lines.

    Virtual Dub set for Direct Stream Copy for both audio and video. This assumes what's inside that AVI is okay.
