    When I play videos with PP the wallpaper shows through. How can that be eliminated?
    Disregard. A reinstall solved the problem.

    Fixing this shouldn't ordinarily require re-installing PotPlayer.

    Newer versions of PotPlayer have a slider which controls transparency. It is to the left of the minimize button in the top right corner of the window.

    There is a menu setting too:
    1. Right click on PotPlayer.
    2. Select "Skins"
    3. Select "Transparency"
    4. Select "Main"
    6. Select "100%" for a completely opaque window, which seems counter-intuitive.
