  1. Hi, I have used CCE 2.64 plugin for premiere and produced MPG file with VBR 3, size 720x480 and bitrate avg 6000, min 2000 and max 9000, export audio as wav. The video quality is exceptional. The problem is nero does not recognize it as a valid file. How can I convert it into a valid svcd format and how do I multiplex audio and video? Could you please help me thanks

  2. Bitrates for standard-compliant SVCD max out at around 2600kbps. You can try to turn off standard compliant and continue to burn with Nero.(xSVCD) Then the problem is that many DVD players can't handle xSVCD. At least mine can't.

Your resolution is too high for a compilent SVCD also. As Poplar said, if you turn off the standard compilence, it will let you burn it, but I doubt it will play (at least, because of the bitrate). It seems you are trying to make a DVD on a CD (miniDVD maybe?), not too many DVD payers are compatible with that format. Also, As far as I know, you can't put a .wav file on an SVCD, you need to encode it to .mp2 (using Toolame via TMPGEnc maybe). Again, I think you can do uncompressed pcm audio on a DVD.

Maybe you should save yourself some time, and buy a DVD burner instead of worrying about SVCD.
