    My last XP running windows XP failed. I was using TMPGEnc 3.0 to create J00_5L images for DVD Jacket_P folder, it will not run on windows 8 or 10.

    I have searched for a few hours for a suitable replacement software or process and there is no obvious solution .....

    If you are still making Jacket_P folders what software or what process are you following.

    For those of us who still have the Sony DVP-CX995V 400 it's pretty cool to have these images when you pause the video.

    Many thanks in advance

    Ron,

    Thanks....

    I know how to make make Jackets i've been doing it for many years.... I'm trying to find out what newer software is being used to create the J00_5L files for the Jacket_P folder.

    Most of the software mentioned hasn't been updated in years or has been abandoned by it's developer. Windows 10 doesn't have the true compatibility to run the XP versions of software...

    Use a WinXp/7 vm if you have to.

    You would need to install AviSynth, then create an AviSynth script something like:

    ImageSource("yyy.jpg", end=n-1)
    Spline36Resize(v.width, v.height) # or some other resizer
    AssumeFPS(v)
    ConvertToYV12()

    or use muxman as stated here:

    http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1381010#post1381010

    but really, is it worth it?

    As others have said, if it is worth it to you, install XP on a VM and run from there.
