[Sony Vegas] how to automate the "color gradient" plugin's Control Points?

i want to simulate an eyelid effect and this is perfect for what I have in mind, i just need know how to automate the control points so i can animate the blinking effect

ps: Ignore those indications on the screenshots, i took this pic from another thread cause i was too lazy to take a screenshot of the plugin myself

Click on the "Animate" button and that will open up the keyframe dialog. You can then go to each point on the timeline, make changes to your settings, and Vegas will interpolate the settings for all frames in between those that you explicitly set. You can also change the rate of change between each point by right-clicking on the keyframe diamonds on the timeline in the dialog.
