Hi. I have a lot of old VCD/DVDs that I want to rip them into computer files and throw away the discs. Otherwise than creating ISO/MDS, what is the best way of ripping those VCD/DVDs while preserving the quality as original as possible?

or what software to do it? (Looking for simple software that does not require much learning, thanks a lot)

A "rip" is an exact copy of a DVD with no quality changes to the video or audio......especially when you are talking about ISO images.

As noted above. You can use MakeMKV.

Otherwise, you would RIP and then convert to another format (based on how the files will be used).
