im trying to encode a file in staxrip and i read it would be for the best to enable lookahead for the best results but i have added the command and keeps failing

"keeps failing" is not a good error description. Post your settings, show error message/log. You didn't even say what encoder you are using.
i found the following on another site but when i copy and paste the command for activating lookahead i get an error, im sure im just doing it wrong ...
